Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

The 26th Union Conference of the Swiss Societies for Vascular Diseases (USGG) together with the Swiss Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (SGUM) Vascular Section will take place at BERNEXPO from 4 – 6 November 2026. On behalf of the organizing committee, I am very pleased to invite you to this year’s conference.

The main theme of the conference this year is «Tracking Vascular Health». Throughout the

conference there will be exciting plenary sessions on the use of novel technology such as AI to monitor the vasculature. As usual, workshops and symposia will cover the latest endovascular therapies and surgical techniques for patients with vascular diseases. Moreover, current research will be presented in free communications.

Theory sessions and practical workshops for medical practice assistants will take place on Wednesday November 4th, 2026. Once again, this year, the congress will feature an exhibition where our industry partners will present their products.

In particular, I would like to address and invite our young colleagues and researchers to submit an abstract. The deadline for this is July 24th, 2026.

For the Union Dinner on November 5th, we are pleased to welcome you to the Gurten – Park im Grünen. This stunning location in Bern offers the perfect setting to enjoy a pleasant dinner with colleagues while taking in a beautiful view.
