INNOVATIONS IN VASCULAR MEDICINE - FILLING THE GAPS

Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

The 24th Union Conference of the Swiss Societies for Vascular Diseases (USGG) together with the Swiss Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (SGUM) Vascular Section will take place at the CCB Basel from 6 - 8 November 2024. On behalf of the organizing committee, I am very pleased to invite you to this event.

The main theme of this year's conference is "Innovations in vascular medicine - filling the gaps". Throughout the conference there will be plenary sessions, workshops, and symposia on the use of medical treatment, endovascular therapies, and surgical techniques for patients with vascular diseases. Moreover, current research will be presented in free communications. Theory sessions and practical workshops for medical practice assistants will take place on Wednesday 6th November.

Once again, this year, the congress will feature an exhibition where our industry partners will present their products.

In particular, I would like to address and invite our young colleagues and researchers to submit an abstract. The deadline for this is July 31, 2024.

For the Union Dinner we are planning to be in the Elisabethenkirche for a dinner, followed by a party. This is a particularly atmospheric venue in Basel where we all can enjoy dinner, music and even dance after dinner.
